Another simulator session

Another day at the sim has ended. I was so busy today because the gap between this and the previous simulator session is so short! The sim session from the yesterday starts at 4am and ends at 10am. I dont mind doing sessions at odd hrs, providing i have enough gap to sleep and study. But i had another session today at 4pm to 10pm. And its one of the hardest sessions. Its about an emergency handling a Volcanic Ash condition.
In this exercise, the instructor will simulate a flight condition in a volcanic ash condition where a volcano erupts. So we must maneuver out of it and plan to land safely. The problem is, its not that easy. Ash from volcano contains small jagged pieces of rocks, minerals, and volcanic glass the size of sand and can be as small as 0.001 millimeters. Its like flying into tiny rocks. It can defiantly damage the aircraft and the engines moving at 600mph.
Another exercise today is the windshear recovery. Windshear is rapid change in wind direction and speed either vertically or horizontally. Severe windshear causes airspeed changes more than 15 kts and 500fpm (feet per min). This will totally screw your flight path.
So i was scared my lack of studying will get me into trouble because there is a lot of recovery procedure for both of these non-normal conditions. The emergencies includes:
Both engine failure. Thats no engine to fly with. We had to glide down all the way.
Engine in-flight start. Of course we have to restart the engine. Or else.. Haha
Engine failure will cause generator failure. Which means no electricity for the plane. Only some backup batteries.
Rapid decompression. Where the cabin pressure drops because loss of electricity. Oxygen mask will deploy.
Emergency descend. Aka dive down as soon as possible.
Loss of hydraulics pressure. This means some of the flt cont wont work. The landing gear will be required to be extended manually.
And I guess thats about it. Im kinda lucky i got through it and passed this session. Though I screwed up alot of stuff while under pressure from the emergencies. Haha. But the instructor is kind enough to guide me and my sim partner through this.
The far end one is the Boeing 737-400 sim. I know the b777 one looks cooler. Haha. Thats why its infornt.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day….

What I am against is quotas I am against hard quotas, quotas they basically delineate based upon whatever However they delineate, quotas, I think, vulcanize society So I don’t know how that fits into what everybody else is saying, their relative positions, but that’s my position — George W Bush
